A couple years ago I'd decided I wanted to learn handlettering. I was staring at the empty pages of my Moleskine trying to figure out what to draw. A quote seemed too short, while lyrics to a song were too long to begin with. And then it hit me... Star Wars opening crawl text! Felt guilty for it not being my very first idea as it's my all time favourite movie.
I didn't own an iPad back then, and what better way to practice than with a pen using ink you cannot erase! There was no room for error and I didn't plan the layout beforehand. I just started drawing letter by letter, word by word. I'm quite proud of how it turned out as it was my very first attempt.

After I purchased an iPad it seemed like a good idea to turn them into posters. The third one is still in progress.
